CONDITIONS
International Dog Training provides a Dog Hotel service, offering proper care for your pet dog in suitable facilities during the periods agreed upon with their owners.
BULLETIN OF RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION TO THE DOG HOTEL
At International Dog Training, you will also find a pleasant place for your pet. In a green area of 300 m², the animals can be released into the parks that are part of the International Dog Training facilities during their stay, where they can socialize with other animals, except if the owner does not allow it or if they are aggressive.
Your pet, due to the change of environment, may show a lack of appetite, which in some dogs can affect their weight. Likewise, the excitement of being with others, playtime, walks, and stress may have an influence.
- The minimum admission age to our facilities is 4 months.
- The boxes are individual and maintained in the best possible sanitary conditions.
- There are no entries or exits on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, or public holidays.
- All animals must present their Vaccination Record on the day of entry. We recommend vaccination against Kennel Cough and Canine Leishmaniasis, and the microchip and rabies vaccination are mandatory.
- Animals that do not have their vaccination record up to date and/or that do not appear healthy will not be admitted.
- Admission is granted only after vaccinations are completed.
- Animals with infectious or contagious diseases, or with any viral syndrome such as Parvovirus or Kennel Cough, will not be accepted. Any recent or chronic illness the animal may have must be communicated at the time of booking.
- In case of cancellation of the stay for reasons unrelated to our services, the amount previously paid will not be refunded.
- If the animal is under oral medication, the client must bring the Veterinary Doctor’s prescription as well as the respective medication. Veterinary nursing care, such as medication, dressings, or any other procedure, will be charged separately from the stay, with the cost varying depending on the situation.
- International Dog Training is not responsible if, due to the animal’s behavior, it is not possible to administer medication or treatment.
- All procedures requiring veterinary intervention will always be charged separately (not included in the boarding fee).
- You must not omit any health or behavioral issue of your animal so that we are duly informed.
- Animals with chronic health conditions are always analyzed on a case-by-case basis in order to evaluate and decide on admission.
- Deworming (internal and external) must also be up to date. Internal deworming should be carried out every 3–4 months, according to veterinary advice, for intestinal worms.
- External deworming must be done monthly (collar or tablet) and applied at home prior to the stay.
- We do not take responsibility if an animal becomes infested due to non-compliance with these requirements. Compliance ensures the hygiene and safety of our facilities.
- International Dog Training has the right to require the immediate removal of a pet if it displays behavior that compromises the proper functioning of the facilities, namely aggression, or shows any signs of illness.
- If fleas are detected, the appropriate external deworming will be carried out, and the cost will be billed later.
- International Dog Training is not responsible for any illnesses that the animal may suffer from or develop during or after the stay.
- International Dog Training is not responsible for cases of sudden death in apparently healthy animals or animals with chronic illnesses.
- If it is not possible to contact the owner in a timely manner and there is an urgent need, International Dog Training will provide veterinary care for the animal in accordance with the owner’s or representative’s instructions. All expenses incurred in these circumstances will be billed to the owner.
- In the event of a relevant change in the animal’s health, International Dog Training undertakes to notify the owner or their representative and take the necessary steps to assist the animal.
- International Dog Training is not responsible for any damage or incident caused by play activities in which your pet is involved. The owner is responsible for deciding whether the pet may socialize and enjoy the parks and activities.
- The daily fee charged for boarding and food services corresponds to the rates in effect on the admission date. There are optional services in addition to boarding: training, wet food, bathing, grooming, etc., which will only be provided with the owner’s express authorization.
- Boarding fees are charged daily.
- Non-payment of the invoice on the due date will incur legal interest charges and may also require the immediate collection of the pet.
- Failure to immediately collect the pet, either due to situations described in this document or after exceeding the agreed boarding period, will result in compensation equal to a minimum multiple of 5 times the daily rate in effect on the date of the event, for each day of delay.
- A reservation is only confirmed after payment and proof of transfer, which must be made to the following account: PT50 001000006349869000173 BPI.
- At the time of booking, €36.90 (corresponding to 2 days) will always be charged. Please pay attention to the agreed dates and number of days, as any changes are subject to availability, especially during peak season. If the owner, for reasons unrelated to our services, decides to end the pet’s stay earlier than agreed, no refunds will be given. If the client wishes to shorten the stay after booking, the remaining balance for the total reserved period will still be charged at check-in.
- International Dog Training also offers a Dog Taxi service, with travel costs calculated based on the kilometers covered, to be quoted in advance for each case.
